Sine-cosine optimization approach applied to the parametric estimation in single-phase transformers by considering voltage and current measures

In this article, a combinatorial optimization approach for estimating the electrical parameters in single-phase distribution transformers by considering voltage and current measures is presented. A nonlinear programming model was formulated to represent parametric estimation problem. This mathematical developed applying Kirchhoff’s laws equivalent electric circuit of transformer. To solve NLP employed sine-cosine algorithm, which corresponds methodology from family metaheuristics that has ability finding good solutions with minimum computational requirements, easily implementable at any language. Numerical results show using proposed represents behavior these devices adequately, different load scenarios. All simulations were carried out MATLAB software compared GAMS package.
